Maple Grove Senior High School students shine in CenterStage: Live in Color

Scholars at Maple Grove Senior High School have been hard at work on CenterStage [Act 14]: Live in Color, and invite you to see the show at an upcoming performance.

Live in Color showcases the talents of all of the scholars in the show as they perform various singing and dancing routines in groups ranging from soloists to the entire cast on stage. The scholars make numerous costume changes and perform elaborate choreography that utilize the entire auditorium, making the audience feel engaged in the show. 

The performance includes various songs that fall in the theme of colors from different genres and time periods, including PINK from the Barbie movie, Yellow Submarine, Paint it Black and Purple Rain. 

The singers and dancers on stage are accompanied by a talented pit orchestra who accompanies them during every song and are featured in the back of the stage. For many songs, musicians with instruments such as a trumpet or flute  join the singers and dancers on stage. 

Shows will take place on May 10-11 and 16-18 at 7 p.m., with a special show for kids on May 11 at 11 a.m. Visit the Maple Grove Musical Theater website to view the full cast list and get your tickets.
